Imagine if you started a corporation that stole money from people in your community and called this taxation and hired employees to facilitate in stealing this money and spending it on themselves and then calling your employees “public servants”?  Does that sound like a good business plan?

Steve Sprowl with identified and as of yet some unidentified locals continue to hold 12 horses hostage after breaking into a family’s property this week and herding horses onto blacked-out get-away trailers and taking off to an as of yet undisclosed location.  When I refer to theft or thieves, I mean by the definition that someone has taken someone else’s property without their consent.  One of the victims, Brian Travis, has been on local news stations and can be found here for an introductory interview and here (within hour 1) for a complete update as of yesterday.  In summary though, the thieves still refuse to give the location of the stolen horses.  If you have not watched the video yet please do so here.  After watching the video and the horrendous treatment of the victims, one begins to wonder if the horses will not also be subjected to torture or violence.  Other thoughts that come to my mind is that the thieves may subject the stolen horses to starvation to set up the victims for a bigger ransom.  There are many people in the victim’s area that continue to call the victim and tell their stories of similar theft and violence perpetrated upon them by similar thieves.  After watching the video, please consider donating to the victims to help with costs associated with the ransom that the thieves will likely announce soon.

horsethief

Apparently in bizarro world, which is Candia, NH, thugs roam the countryside stealing horses.  When I refer to theft or thieves, I mean by the definition that someone has taken someone else’s property without their consent.  These local ruffians lead by a man named Steve Sprowl, blocked off traffic to the horse farm, put duck-tape on the license plates of their trucks and trailers, and drove up to the horse farm and began loading the horses into the get-away trailers.  Apparently, the plan for the heist was setup sometime around the time that a veterinary doctor by the name of Simon George from the Deerfield Veterinary Clinic in Deerfield, NH had serviced the horses on the farm a couple of weeks earlier.  Video footage of the theft was thankfully caught on camera and can be seen by clicking the link below.  If you have a farm in Wisconsin, you should take a lesson from the victims in this case because they had shot video footage of the incident in order to be able to reclaim their stolen property and will be able to successfully sue for theft and damages.
